Speaking of Until Dawn, the excitement over seeing its revival was palpable among fans, especially with the improved character models, effects, and new features. So when it launched with numerous bugs and sound mixing issues (with music inserted in places where it didn’t fit), there was more than a bit of backlash. Perhaps most notorious were the lighting changes, especially in the early going, divided fans. A few patches later, the remake feels better to play, but many still believe it to be an unnecessary release.
