Wait a second, isn’t Father Gascoigne actually the second boss in Bloodborne? As it turns out, there’s a way to meet Gascoigne before the Cleric Beast and battle him while you’re woefully unprepared. Not only is this a primer into the brutal world of Bloodborne but Gascoigne will straight up murder new players without a problem. His beast form still haunts my nightmares.
