Will a demo offer the full range of suffering that Abe and his kind had to face? No but the demo’s teasing was extremely effective – a CG intro set up our unlikely hero in this grim-dark, industrial environment that was out to get him. It started off as a simple platforming exercise that grew in complexity. You escorted Mudokons, evaded enemies, rolled around and other weird things, all within a nice 15 to 20 minute demo.
