I think that Evolution Studios have taken a good decision with sticking to the tarmac instead of letting the players hightail their cars through dirt,water and a gooey mixture of the two. Especially considering the cars that they have included in the game, it would not have been wise to have an Audi R8 revving and uselessly trundling through forests and goop while everyone else zipped past on slick and smooth tarmac.
