Euclideon: Unlimited Detail
Euclideon? Hmm. We’ve heard of these guys on and off over the years. They appear to back, however, having secured a hefty two million dollar grant from the Australian government. We’re going to hold our judgement on the feasibility of what’s essentially a voxel-based engine the likes of what we’ve seen in No Man’s Sky, but for what its worth, Euclideon’s Unlimited Detail engine showcases some pretty remarkable visuals here, and Euclideon appears to have secured some fairly high-profile industry tie-ups.
