Developer Support

Let’s forget about graphics for a second and backtrack a little. A far more important step must be collected: developer support. It’s important to remember that to receive great games, these devices need developers working on them. Will the support be high in demand? Here are some questions developers might find themselves asking before they even get started working on VR: How do these new VR headsets operate? Will the money be worth the time to develop the project? Does the project even need to be done in VR? Building straight up for console of PC would be far easier with less code, is it worth that time? Will we have to spend a lot of time re learning this new tech? It is likely developers would have dozens, maybe even hundreds of more questions before finding themselves knee deep in a sticky VR situation.
