The word “immersive” keeps coming up. It’s what VR is all about, really. Is a third person game truly immersive? Is a Minecraft game truly immersive? Not really. Which brings up the question: What is more immersive than First Person Shooters (FPS)? At this moment in time nothing. Does this mean to be truly immersive, to live within this virtual reality, its true calling would be a GameStop with shelf after shelf of FPS games? Now, I’m a fan of many FPS games, but if this future is going to be designed for only Call of Duty games, then count me out.
