Random Encounters
Any RPG fan will tell you that random encounters suck. And no, we don’t mean the kind where enemies are roaming around in a field and just casually await your input, though these are equally ridiculous. We’re talking about those long open expanses or thick bushes in games like Pokémon where you’re attacked against your will. You can do nothing about it and you can’t always run away. At least open world RPGs like The Witcher 3 and Skyrim allow you to flee any skirmish you find yourself in the middle of (most times).
