Batman: Arkham City
The story of Batman: Arkham City is finding out about and shutting down Protocol 10. However, the plot focuses on Batman trying to survive with the Joker’s toxic blood in his body. After curing himself, the Dark Knight debates whether to cure the Joker, causing the latter to attack him. This leads to the antidote being ruined. Batman then reveals the sobering conclusion – he still would have saved the Joker. Oh and then the Joker dies. Just like that, after all those years. It was as sudden and cold as you’d expect.
