L.A. Noire
Cole Phelps has it rough in L.A. Noire, solving murder cases and seeing it all crash down when his adultery is exposed. However, when he and Kelso pursue Elsa to save her from Ira Hogeboom – with Ira being killed – Phelps has to sacrifice himself in order to save them both. The eulogy around Phelps’ funeral is sad enough but so is the revelation that his old friend Kelso knew about the whole stolen morphine since the beginning. Could that have changed Phelps’ ending? Probably.
