Its world is crawling with all manner of danger, from cannibalistic creatures that have been ripped out of your worst nightmare to the unforgivingly demanding survival mechanics. When it’s firing on all cylinders, which it usually is, The Forest can make your virtual island life a living hell for you, in the best way possible. The fact that it’s able to do that as consistently as it does makes it that much more impressive.
