Detroit: Become Human
It’s been almost 5 years since Detroit: Become Human released, but it still stands tall as one of the best narratives of recent memory. It’s easily one of the best works from Quantic Dream, and it’s also one of its most flexible games to date. Choices in Detroit: Become Human really do matter, and the endings can vary wildly depending on what you choose during key moments in the story. What’s also fascinating is how the narrative can loop around itself as certain different choices will ultimately lead you to the same conclusion. Even witnessing these narrative systems will require more than a couple of playthroughs, and really getting the most out of the experience will require a few more.
