METAL GEAR SOLID 5: THE PHANTOM PAIN

metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain

You know exactly what this is about. While almost everyone expected The Phantom Pain to chronicle the events of Big Boss’ life between Peace Walker and Metal Gear 1, and show how he fell from grace and went from being a war hero to a global terrorist, that’s not what we really got. What we got instead was a game that fooled us into thinking we’re playing as Big Boss, except we were just playing as Mr. Random Dude, who, thanks to plastic surgery and hypnotherapy (no nanomachines this time) had been fooled into thinking he was Big Boss.

Oh well, at least now we know how Big Boss survived the ending of Metal Gear 1, right?
