1. Gesture Based Control

Now the Kinect is a sweet piece of hardware, that seems like the first infant of Skynet. Pretty cool. But we have a hard time picturing a Skynet device with a mind bogglingly awesome camera working as an audio receiving machine. There are gesture controls available for the Kinect but they aren’t enough.

Microsoft has to put their nose to the grindstone to polish the gesture based features for the Kinect. having a great set of camera but not being able to browse effectively through the UI, or to switch it off or to make it stop listening with a certain gesture really is a let down. I know it’s asking too much (maybe) but why can’t we have custom gestures? Who wouldn’t want to kamehameha the hell out of their Xbox to shut it down?

The Microsoft Xbox One is a splendid machine. But Microsoft have been lagging in utilising the console to its full potential. It’s an extremely capable machine that needs only a few touch ups – some small and a handful major ones – to make it one of the best entertainment systems out there. It’ll be a shame if we were to witness something so good go down for the sole that the developers were too lazy to make things right. There’s a lot riding on Microsoft’s shoulders right now.

Some suggestions here are no doubt a tad picky. But to each their own. Have us know what would you like to see in the PS4 in the comments below.
