12. Backwards Compatibility
Well before the Xbox One was released, it was announced that there would be no native support for old games on the new consoles and it was all blamed on the new hardware and architecture. The PS4 had the same story. We all accepted it with morose forbearance. But listening to the cries of the fans, Sony has done something towards it by means of emulation.
We fail to see why the Xbox One is lagging behind in this regard when it should be frantically catching up and providing the users with the much loved classic games of the Xbox 360 and Original. Providing old games through emulated environments in cloud systems is also being considered but it will be some time before we see anything from that realm.
