ENHANCED MELEE COMBAT
No, we don’t want suplexes and roundhouse kicks and whatever the hell Resident Evil 6 had more than half of its ensemble cast doing at he drop of a hat. What we do want is melee combat that is a little more extensive than what we saw in Resident Evil 2- basically, keep the same framework, just expand on it a little bit. Allow us to stomp downed enemies, maybe even introduce a dodge mechanic similar to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
