RE-INTERPRET THE STORY
Resident Evil has always embraced its pulpy nature as far as its narrative is concerned, but as the series grew older, it started doing so more and more with each new entry. With Code Veronica, it doubled down on those aspects, and while there’s a certain charm to its story even today, it just wouldn’t fit very well with the new grounded approach that Capcom has taken with Resident Evil of late. If Code Veronica were ever to get remade, we’d like to see Capcom reinterpreting its story to make it fit with that new tone- while keeping the main story beats intact (with some adjustments here and there), of course.
