Just like The Witcher 3, Skyrim isn’t too long because of uneven pacing or too much content. No, it’s too long, because it’s literally too long. This here is a game that is full of interesting stuff to do, set in a world that begs to be explored thoroughly, with quests and side quests that you can’t help but dive into. And when you’re not doing all that, simply messing about in the open world can bring you hours of enjoyment. But if you’re looking for a game that isn’t dozens – if not hundreds – of hours long and won’t keep you from playing pretty much anything else, you might want to stay away from this one.
