The inclusion of microtransactions in free-to-play games is much less offensive than in games such as the ones we’ve mentioned in this feature, but Real Racing 3’s pay-to-win model was among the worst we’ve ever seen. The game was full of obtrusive paywalls, making players wait to do even tiny little things, telling them that if they didn’t want to wait, they could always spend more money on it.The fact that in-game currency was pretty costly itself did the game no favours either.
