RESIDENT EVIL – PLAYING AS CHRID REDFIELD
The original Resident Evil (and its remake, of course) let players choose who they want to play as between Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, but if you want to make things a little easier for yourself, Jill is the way to go. Chris has a smaller inventory, which is a big deal in a game such as this one, but there are other disadvantages to playing as him as well. Unlike Jill, he doesn’t have a lockpick, and he doesn’t start the game with a handgun either. Meanwhile, certain puzzles are also a bit more complicated- for instance, you need to find the broken shotgun first if you want to get the shotgun in your arsenal, whereas as Jill, you can just grab the weapon and have Barry save you from turning into a Jill Sandwich.
