Halo used to be at the top of the world, but after Halo 3, gamers attentions turned elsewhere for their shooting fix. Perhaps to chase after that Call of Duty success, mechanics such as sprinting were introduced to a game that wasn’t designed to have it, forcing the maps larger and larger, and more and more barren to the point it didn’t feel like Halo anymore.
