Mirror’s Edge

We’ve said it before and we’ll keep saying it for a good long while – Mirror’s Edge was extremely under-appreciated, especially given what it achieved at the time. It was a first person action platformer which simulated parkouring across massive rooftops, and did so while presenting some genuinely great missions and stunning aesthetics. Moreover, it did this back in 2008 on previous-generation consoles. Despite this, Mirror’s Edge only managed to sell one million units as of February 2009, falling well short of EA’s projections. It received a sequel but suffice to say that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst just didn’t feel the same.
