RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS
Starting to sense a pattern here? Resident Evil Revelations is yet another spinoff in a major franchise that launched as a handheld-exclusive and often gets lost in the shadows of its big brothers. But as most who’ve played it would tell you, it deserves way more attention than it gets. Coming out at a time when the series was moving further and further away from its roots, Revelations was a classic return to horror, with a creepy setting and a structure that adhered to the series’ classic games much more closely- and i spite of being made for the 3DS, it looked absolutely stunning. The game wasn’t without its issues – its annoying side missions being among the most egregious – but it’s still an unmissable game for Resident Evil fanatics.
