RESISTANCE: RETRIBUTION

Frankly, Insomniac’s Resistance series as a whole doesn’t get nearly as much adoration and attention as it deserves, but even among a group of overlooked games, the PSP title Resistance: Retribution often gets unfairly shafted too often. Developed by Syphon Filter (and later Days Gone) developers Sony Bend, Resistance: Retribution was an excellent third person shooter that showcased the technical capabilities of the PSP wonderfully, and was without a doubt one of the best games in the handheld’s excellent library. Sadly, being a handheld-exclusive spinoff that differed from the main series quite a bit and that wasn’t developed by the series’ main developers meant that Resistance: Retribution would often be overlooked in most conversations about the series.
