CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE

call of duty infinite warfare

Now don’t freak out- just hear us out. We know Infinite Warfare is in many ways the poster boy of everything that was wrong with Call of Duty in the first half of this console generation, and while many of the criticisms levied at the game aren’t without merit, those do often get blown out of proportion. Yes, the hard sci-fi setting pissed a lot of series fans off – that infamous reveal trailer probably haunts Activision to this day – but the actual game itself was really a lot of fun. Infinite Warfare’s campaign is one of the series’ better single player efforts, the dogfighting sections were a ton of fun, and the new movement options were very new and unique for the series. Did it have problems? Well, yeah, sure- every Call of Duty game does, if we’re being honest. But by and large, it was still a very enjoyable game.
