Sanctum
This entertaining tower defense title was unique for also being a first person shooter. Knowing the best layouts for one’s towers, synergizing weapons with traps and turrets, and exploiting enemy weaknesses was the key to victory. Sanctum would see a much better sequel two years down the line before Coffee Stain Studios went full-on crazy with Goat Simulator and the recent Satisfactory, the latter leaning much heavier into the building aspect.
