Nobody Wants to Die

Nobody Wants to Die_04

Futuristic, neo-noir detective thriller Nobody Wants to Die has a reputation for underwhelming its players. Perhaps owing to its superb graphical presentation and world building there’s an implication its gameplay would be just as detailed. As it happens, Nobody Wants to Die is best thought of as a visual novel, a mechanically light walking sim with a narrative style akin to Telltale Games. Its story doesn’t totally stick its landing, and there’re legitimate grumbles about the inability to replay certain sections, but for a game oozing in atmosphere you could do a lot worse.
