Sons of the Forest

Endnight Games’ The Forest turned out to be one of the best surprise hits of recent memory, thanks to an engaging gameplay loop that rarely gets stale. Now the developer is rounding up work on the sequel, Sons of the Forest which will once again thrust you into the wilderness with nothing but your wits by your side. You will have to use every resource at your disposal to craft tools, build shelter, and gather weapons to advance the story. Most of the gameplay is going to be pretty flexible, so you could come up with a variety of solutions for the problem at hand. At the time of writing this feature, Sons of the Forest is scheduled to be released for PC on 23 February this year. (Update: It’s out now).
