Psycho Mantis – Metal Gear Solid
Psycho Mantis was truly special, from the freak-out at the beginning with him endlessly “reading” the player’s mind to changing one’s controller to the Player 2 port to actually fight. Though tossing objects at Snake with telekinesis may not have been too threatening, he also threw one off guard by controlling Meryl and forcing her to fight. Killing her leads to a game over so of course this would be used against the player as well. In terms of mental warfare between the boss and player, Psycho Mantis is still a great boss.
