Remember that period of time when every time you logged into Facebook, you’d see dozens of notifications about friends playing Farmville or something or the other? Yeah, not a fond memory. Flash games on social networking sites were all the rage for a short and depressing period of time, and in that time, it looked like they were really getting a solid foothold in the market. Predictably, though, the fad died out eventually, fizzling out as quickly as it burst to life.
