Fish swim, bird fly, and Nintendo does weird, whacky shit that no one can explain. The Wii U is yet another example of weird, whacky shit. It’s true that with the Switch, they were properly able to do what they failed to do with the Wii U, but that doesn’t make the system’s concept any weirder. Dual screen gaming might work for handhelds, but dual screen gaming for home consoles? It can work, sure, but making an entire console around it? Who thought that was a good idea? What’s even worse is that the Wii U isn’t the only console that tried to do that. With SmartGlass and the PS Vita’s Remote Share, the Xbox One and PS4 respectively tried to do that as well- neither was successful.
