EVOLVE
Prior to launch, Evolve was being billed by Take-Two as its next big franchise, and though the game clearly had some compelling ideas, some of which it even managed to execute quite well, they just couldn’t come together the way they needed to at the end. Boring map design, the glacial pace of its progression mechanics, its ridiculous post-launch model- all of these were just a few of the major reasons that ensured that the game would never be able to live up to its hype.
