S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl may have launched in rough shape, but developer GSC Game World has pledged to bring the game up to its promised level of quality with post-launch patches, of which we’ve had two so far. Now, the studio has released patch 1.03, which, unlike the very first patch (and like the second one) is relatively smaller in scale, but does still bring numerous fixes.

The patch addresses a couple of crashes and memory leaks, while making adjustments related to keyboard and mouse controls, including with sensitivity and aiming, based on feedback from players. Additionally, the patch also brings fixes for a handful of numerous bugs related to specific missions and side missions, as well as a couple of AI fixes. You can view the patch notes in full below.

As previously confirmed by GSC Game World, it will also be sharing a roadmap sometime this month to share details on its immediate post-launch plans, which will also include free content updates. Meanwhile, two paid expansions are also in the works.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
