METAL GEAR SOLID 2- FISSION MAILED

This particular Metal Gear trolling moment is quite unlike the other two, in that it didn’t make fans want to hunt down Hideo Kojima and violently beat him to death. As Metal Gear Solid 2 moves into its final act, it starts throwing a multitude of curveballs into your face, and some of the groundwork it does to set up those twists is unforgettable. Take this moment, for example. The Colonel Campbell on Metal Gear Solid 2 is nothing but an AI, as we now know, but when the game starts acting up, fumbling the spellings of words and outright telling you to stop playing, that information has not yet been made available to the players. This was another one of those mad, genius fourth-wall breaking moments that Kojima is so well known for. The entire sequence was, frankly, nothing short of surreal, and the memory of seeing the words “Fission Mailed” flash across our screens will never leave us.
