The Epsilon missions in Grand Theft Auto V were designed solely to antagonize the player. That’s not even something they shy away from, or something they accidentally up doing. That is specifically how they were designed. Rockstar knows it, GTA 5 knows it, the players know it. And for some twisted reason, playing these missions that gleefully indulge in how frustratingly annoying they are is kind of fun. Not only do you have to spend vast amount of money to progress through these missions, you’re given an increasingly ridiculous set of tasks to accomplish. And while there’s a chance that at the end of this line of missions you get a vast sum of cash, depending on your choices, your prize may be nothing more than an old tractor. Somehow that makes it all even more worth it.
