VAMPYR
Vampyr is a classic diamond in the rough. Dontnod Entertainment’s action RPG is conceptually fascinating and has a ton of great ideas- ideas that you can’t help but admire, even if the execution is often a little rough around the edges. Playing as a doctor who’s also a vampire makes for a fascinating experience, with the constant pull between the need to feed and the need to protect people from harm manifesting in both gameplay and story in some interesting ways. It’s a fascinating take on the concept, and well worth experiencing, flaws and all.
