Star Fox 2 Finally Releases
Star Fox 2 seemed like a no-brainer for the Super Nintendo back in the 90s. The first game was a hit and the second would be bigger and better. However, it was supposed to release in 1996 which was very close to the Nintendo 64’s launch. In order to ensure a “clean break” between both generations, Star Fox 2 was cancelled. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t completed and when the SNES Classic was announced this year, what else should show up but Star Fox 2. It had its share of positive and negative reviews but the fact that Star Fox 2 eventually released over two decades later is still incredible.
