TT Games’ LEGO titles have settled into a comfortable formula over the years, and it’s a formula that’s worked very well for the series. But The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is where that formula has started to wear thin. Boring combat, dull open world gameplay, and disjointed storytelling are the most noticeable of its laundry list of shortcomings.
