CONTRA: ROGUE CORPS
One look at Contra: Rogue Corps during its announcement was enough to set off alarm bells, because the game looking nothing like what one would want to see in a Contra title, but it actually turned out to be far worse than we could have guessed. Not only was Rogue Corps a bad Contra game, it was just a bad game, period. It looked horrible, its combat was unenjoyable, and it completely missed the point of Contra. In the past few years, many indie homages have popped up as adequate replacements for this venerated franchise, so if you’re looking for some good old Contra action, look to them, not this monstrosity.
