With so much space to explore in an open world, developers like to give players something to seek out. And because of this, the collectible was born; too bad most of them are useless and only exist to be found. The feathers in Assassin’s Creed don’t add much to the experience; they just give players something to focus on as they wander through the beautifully realized ancient cities.
