The past, present, and future may all be set upon a collision course in 1666: Amsterdam’s heady mix of witchcraft, ancient orders, and a boy from the future trapped in a cat’s body helping a woman who might be the key to the world’s salvation. That definitely isn’t a normal day in the life of anyone unless you’re Aaron, the boy/cat who aids Noa Brooklyn, the protagonist of this one, in her quest to defeat the Originals.
The duo is going to do that by staying on the down low and prowling the streets of a city that might not be as friendly as it seems on the surface. Dangerous threats await, and you’re going to have to push Noa’s abilities to the maximum if you want to come out on top. The game is out now in early access, and the launch trailer reveals that Noa’s mother might have had a key role to play in the destiny that awaits her at the end of her road.
It’s pretty heavy stuff, but at least Noa and Aaron are going to have us at their sides. Once we finish watching the trailer below just one more time, that is. We can’t believe that this one once lost its funding, but we’re going to wait and see how things go for it over the next few months.
