Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is finally here, and the launch trailer is the perfect way to get fired up and dive into the fray with your pals.
It’s a great showcase of everything that’s had us excited about this one, from nasty Xenomorphs looking to make your squad their next meal to weapons and class-based abilities designed to help you stem the tide of ruthless creatures coming at you. You’re going to have to work together and do it well to stand a chance at surviving, although getting your hands on that Specialist class should turn the tide in your favor.
However, getting there is going to take some work, and the developers are pretty enthusiastic about this one letting you find creative ways to work with what your teammates can do once you dive in. Finding synergies and taking advantage of them is cruial to your survival, and is a great way to get familiar with upgrade paths that bring a lot of new functionalities to your toolkit no matter which of the game’s classes you’re playing.
It helps that this one’s performance targets are pretty indicative of a smooth, intense fight once things go south on your missions.
