There is actually a fourth ending in the game which possibly triggers Chapter 3
You already know about this- we’ve been covering this pretty obsessively on GamingBolt for a while now, and Konami has even made it an in game event. Basically, datamined video files from the PC version of the game seem to hint at there being another ending in the game. Due to the context and content of the ending, which you can see for yourself above, it is speculated that it has something to do with global nuclear disarmament- which, in the game, translates to all players’ nuclear weapons on their FOBs being disabled or disarmed. It’s something that players worldwide are trying to achieve, by disarming their own nukes, and also stealing and disarming other players’.
It is speculated that this ending, once triggered, may unlock Chapter 3, but honestly, that’s just wishful thinking in my opinion.
