Sony routinely adds new games to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, a curated library of PS4 and PS5 titles that’s accessible to those subscribed to PlayStation Plus’ Extra and Premium tiers at no additional cost. As is the case with all such subscription services though, the PS Plus Game Catalog’s library of games is a rolling one that also routinely sees games being removed.

Sony has now revealed the next batch of games that will be dropped from the library, and there’s quite a few. On May 21, as many as 25 games will be dropped from the PS Plus Game Catalog, following which even PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will only be able to access those games if they’ve purchased them. Notably, that list of games includes seven Final Fantasy titles- Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8 Remastered, Final Fantasy 9, Final Fantasy 10|10-2 HD Remaster, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy 15: Royal Edition, and World of Final Fantasy.

Other notable titles that will be dropped from the PS Plus Game Catalog next month include Abzu, The Artful Escape, Ashen, Absolver: Downfall, My Friend Pedro, The Messenger, Elex, Minit, and Observation, among others.
