Borderlands 2 is a game that knows its biggest strengths and does a great job of crafting a fun experience based on them. It improves upon the original with a markedly more fun story that features witty yet memorable characters like Handsome Jack, and the gameplay loop of looting and shooting remains an absolute joy even after hundreds of hours of grinding through quests. It’s also a highly replayable experience with so many possibilities for crafting all sorts of wacky weapons. It’s one of those games that will keep you coming back for more.
