One of the best expansions of all time for one of the best games ever made sums up Shadow of the Erdtree well enough. No one expected FromSoftware to deliver such a massive landmass like the Land of Shadow, and its vertical structure served as a significant departure from the base game. The sheer number of new weapon types, incantations, sorceries, armor sets, and more is made all the more enjoyable by all the unique bosses, which challenge even the best players.
