FEAR
FEAR is often regarded as one of the best playing first person shooters out there, thanks in large part to its excellent AI, but while the focus here is definitely more on the action than the horror, the horror is nothing to scoff at either. There’s telepathic cannibals, supernatural powers that threaten the existence of the world, and a creepy girl who loves nothing more than just silently staring at you from the ends of dimly lit hallways. Put together, it all makes for some very effective horror.
