Sloclap’s Sifu is a unique beat ’em up, with players going from one location to the next to take revenge against rival martial artists. The responsive gameplay emphasizes combos, counters, and exploiting weapons and the environment to topple foes. However, the most intriguing aspect is the talisman, which resurrects the player upon death, ageing them up while reducing their health and increasing damage. It’s an unorthodox formula but still delivers a pulse-pounding adventure, complete with a tout presentation.
