This one obviously had to be in here. Studio MDHR’s run and gun shooter is a game unlike any other- and a single glance at it in action is enough to tell you that. On the gameplay front, Cuphead deserves no shortage of praise for its challenge, its excellent boss fights, and its core mechanical strength, but where it really shines is with its gorgeous aesthetic and its stellar animations, things that never cease to amaze no matter how much time you’ve spent with the game.
