Talking about grand returns of beloved franchises, we have Life Is Strange: Double Exposure. This feels like an ambitious sequel with its focus on parallel timelines and alternate universes, though players will largely be interacting with the narrative in a similar vein to prior entries. Double Exposure also marks the return of Max Cauldron, the protagonist from the original game so you can expect the mishmash of alternate realities with the time-bending skills accrued from previous adventures which is a pretty tantalizing concept. It comes out on 29 October 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
